Highly Anticipated Jetpack is here!

The highly anticipated jetpack is finally here! In early September, we hinted at our first in-game item usable within the Solace-themed domes and beyond. We've developed numerous variations of the jetpack concept, which will be released through various manufacturers in the Cornucopias universe. We're excited about the potential impact these items will have on the in-game experiences in both current and future versions of Cornucopias.

Upcoming Game Asset Sales

We're thrilled to announce a new set of in-game assets in our next build, representing our largest collection yet. This includes a mix of high-end items and more affordable premium assets. The lineup features functional assets such as the ZeroG Jetpack, Scrapyard Jetpack, Valkyrie F9R, Bubblejett Super Phantom, and Atmos Cargo Ship. We also offer various cosmetic assets including a Cargo Backpack, Military Backpack, premium outfits for male and female characters, Burger Barn Goofy Hat, and the Corn Cutie Grizzly Bear Backpack. These assets will be on sale for a limited time over a 2-3 week period, with any unsold items reallocated to future rotations. We ha;ve also announced that the supply of the assets will be split evenly between BASE and Cardano. You can see an overview of the details below…

Environment

Following the successful release of Solace, our environment team has returned to work on Esperanza. The fantastic feedback from the community on the launch of Solace was a great motivator as we transitioned back into land building. We’re pleased to report that the workflows and processes established during the development of Solace are now enhancing the execution for Esperanza. The team is also continuing to update Solace as they level out land plots.

Jetpack physics

Jetpack physics are progressing so that upcoming jetpack NFT owners can start using them sooner rather than later. We've made significant progress in tuning jetpack physics and "recharge" mechanics to ensure players feel immersed in a universe where commercial jetpacks are a reality.

Tuning S-Class Vehicles

With the new Purple Track nearing completion, we're excited to also introduce all-new S-Class vehicles to our arsenal. Both the Valkyrie F9R and Bubblejett Super Phantom are currently being tested and tuned to meet the performance specifications required for S-Class racers.

Other notable tasks in progress

  • Design and Implement DLSS and Main Menu Graphics Options
  • Update the Transport System to make travel smoother

QA

Our quality assurance team has been rigorously testing a variety of new features in the Cornucopias ecosystem to ensure a thoroughly positive gaming experience. In the past month, they have begun testing game performance on servers to enhance our preparedness for scaling to a larger player base. They have also started evaluating marketplace functionality for game asset purchases, as well as node functionality and rewards claiming.

Note: Many, but not all, features will be available in this build. Stay tuned for all the product information and further updates!

  • New Purple Track
  • Yellow Track Improvements
  • New Ways to get around faster
  • Land Plot Leveling
  • Some new features that will shed some light on a core element of Cornucopias
  • Revamped Inventory system
  • A glimpse of facelift to an early favorite in Calido Valley
  • Other "General" Stuff

File Nodes

  • The cost to us from AWS on average is $2.70 per player per download as the game approaches 40gb
  • The file nodes have now been built into the game launcher and are being tested, they will be rolled out and further tested over the next few months with the plan to go fully live by December
  • Nodes should cut our AWS expense by 95%
  • Rewards will be claimable on BASE and Cardano this month (October)
