Quantum Autumn Sale

Over the past month, we've been preparing for the biggest asset sale ever launched in the Cornucopias ecosystem—the Quantum Autumn Sale. This sale features 17 unique assets available at various price points, spread across three phases intended to last about one week each. Each phase introduces assets from four main categories, including a variety of jetpacks, backpacks, vehicles, and cosmetics. Introducing Nexus

Our latest build unveils Nexus, a groundbreaking feature that enables players to swap out all their in-game assets at various terminals located throughout the universe. Given that player inventories are intentionally limited to enhance realism and strategic management, we recognized the need for a system that allows players to store their purchased assets outside their personal inventory until home bases and spawn points are developed.

The Nexus system functions like cloud storage, reading in-game assets from all connected cryptocurrency wallets so players can access them anytime. Nexus terminals have been strategically placed in every Solace town and at the center of Calido Valley Square, ensuring your assets are readily accessible in all central hotspots.

Quality Assurance Enhancements

Our Quality Assurance team has been exceptionally busy testing everything in the new build—the biggest we've ever released—including our new marketplace interface, node infrastructure, and server developments. This month's product rollout provided our QA team the opportunity to develop a consistent workflow to optimize bug identification and deliver valuable feedback on user experience features. With our QA team at the forefront, we've increased efficiency across all departments.

Strategic Marketing Partnerships

Growthy

We're excited to announce that we've begun the planning phase with our new partners at Growthy to roll out a marketing campaign that will allow the community to delve deeper into the Cornucopias lore. Growthy has devised a strategy that has been highly effective for their previous clients and uniquely leverages the enthusiasm of the Cornucopias community to reach new audiences. We're eager to unveil many new developments over the next few months with their assistance.

Green Room

We've also enlisted the expertise of another marketing partner, our friends at Green Room. The team behind this agency is renowned for their significant contributions to the marketing of Illuvium, Gods Unchained, and Fableborne. Green Room specializes in content production and media development, disseminated through their extensive KOL network. We're grateful to collaborate with another high-profile marketing powerhouse and look forward to the amazing content they'll help us create.

3. Nexus Express Terminals

  • Now Available: Find Nexus Express Terminals in Calido Plaza and all towns in Solace.
  • Access Your Premium Assets: Use the terminals to equip your owned premium assets for your avatar.
  • Current Offerings: Access items for the Pack slot (Jetpacks and Cargo Packs).
  • Additional Content: For premium content for your Head, Body, or Feet slots, use the Avatar Creator.

4. Early Implementation of Mat Cards System

  • Customize Your Apparel: Swap materials from apparel you own to others.
  • Use Free Mat Cards: Apply materials from free apparel to premium apparel to personalize your look.

5. New Racing Track: Calido Purple

  • High-Speed Thrills: Enjoy twists, turns, and inversions at high speed.
  • Sky-High Adventure: Pierce the clouds at the summit of this exhilarating track.

6. Inventory System Updates

  • Enhanced Support: Inventory now supports Nexus Express and premium items for smoother asset management.

7. New Settings

  • Accessible Options: Find new settings in the main menu and in-game.
  • Graphics Control: Greater control over graphics in custom mode.
  • Camera Settings: Adjust camera options for a tailored experience.

8. New Vehicles

  • Bubblejett's Super Phantom: Joins the battle against the F9-R in S Class racing.
  • The Sunset Speeder: From Rando's Metalworks, brings Atlantic charm and power to compete with the Valley Raceworx T3.

9. Jetpack Game Mechanics

  • Fly High: If you've purchased jetpacks from the store, access them through the Nexus Terminal.
  • Equip and Enjoy: Place jetpacks in your inventory, equip them, and have fun!
  • Available Locations: Jetpack functionality is available in Calido and the Solaces.

10. Premium Assets Availability

  • Seasonal Items: Access various premium assets, including free seasonal ones, via the Nexus Terminal if purchased.

11. Graphical and Lighting Improvements

  • Enhanced Visuals: Improvements to sharpness and shadow quality globally for a more immersive experience.

12. Improved Avatar Skin and Hair Shading

  • Extra Texture Details: Avatars now have improved skin and hair shading.
  • Updated Presets: The Avatar Creator features new and updated presets.
  • Important Notes:
    • Avatar Data Reset: Avatar data will be wiped for this release; you'll need to create your avatar again.
    • Clothing Options: Clothing is no longer available in the Avatar Creator and must be obtained through the Nexus or by finding chests around the world.

13. Improved Transport System

  • Stability Enhancements: More stable transport in Solace Sectors and when traveling to and from Calido.

14. Updated Navigation Maps

  • Better Exploration: Improved maps for Calido Valley and the Solace Sectors to help you navigate with ease.

15. New General Stores and Lighting

  • Shop Around: Visit new General Stores in towns around Solace.
  • Brighter Nights: Enjoy extra lighting with new lamp posts throughout the world.

16. Adjusted Day-Night Cycle

  • More Daylight Fun: The night-time cycle has been shortened.
    • Cycle Duration: 6 hours of day and 2 hours of night.

Known Issues

While we've made significant strides, we're aware of some issues that may affect your gameplay. Our team is working diligently to resolve them.

1. Fatal Errors in Inventory Management

  • Issue: Crashes when moving items into spaces that are too small.
  • Status: Fixes are underway for the next release.

2. Inconsistent Inventory Results with Nexus Access

  • Issue: Rare occurrences of inconsistent inventory data when accessing the Nexus.

3. Wallet and Nexus Synchronization Issues

  • Issue: Difficulty accessing wallet items or items not appearing in the Nexus.
  • Action: Please report any such issues; we're improving asset management systems.

4. Minor Inventory Consistency Issues

  • Issue: General inconsistencies in inventory behavior.

5. Unfinished Collision and Game Art

  • Issue: Areas in and around Calido accessible by jetpack may have incomplete collision detection and game art.

6. Collision Issues in Solace

  • Issue: Clipping may occur due to collision problems with rocks and other assets.
  • Note: Collision is a work in progress for game and NPC AI.

7. Inventory and Nexus System Glitches

  • Issue: Items may not equip correctly or may disappear temporarily.

8. Visual Artifacts Around Avatar

  • Issue: Minor artifacts when rotating the camera around the avatar.

9. Jetpack Rubber Banding on Slow Connections

  • Issue: Lag and rubber banding when using jetpacks with a slow internet connection.
  • Tip: Ping is king! Select the appropriate server region for optimal performance.

10. Lighting and Shading Issues

  • Issue: Minor lighting and shading discrepancies, especially during night-time.

11. Transport System Glitches

  • Issue: Players may be unexpectedly ejected from transport systems or encounter other anomalies.

12. Performance Issues

  • Issue: Occasional performance drops in certain areas.
