Cornucopias February Update: A Month of Breakthroughs and Innovations

Introduction

February has been one of the most exciting months we’ve ever experienced at Cornucopias. With deliverables coming to fruition and groundbreaking developments on the horizon, our momentum heading into 2025 is already snowballing into something massive.

Major Developments

SuperVerse Partnership

In November, we established a partnership with SuperVerse—a collaboration we have been extremely eager to unveil. The SuperVerse ecosystem sets the highest standard in Web3 gaming, boasting longstanding partnerships with Off the Grid, Metacade, Wilder World, Nyan Heroes, and more. With an outstanding reputation for collaborating with the best gaming projects in blockchain, we are thrilled to join the ranks of the elite.

This collaboration will enable us to integrate real-world brands into the Cornucopias universe in innovative ways. Expect features like customizable in-game structures, high-quality in-game advertisements, and special branded game assets purchasable with $SUPER.

Weapons Development

In February, we began dropping teasers about our evolving weapons system. Although we’ve only revealed a fraction of what we’re working on, our community is buzzing with anticipation for what’s to come. Soon, we will share more details about various weapon types, models, functionalities, and the intricacies of our comprehensive combat system.

In the next build, we plan to introduce a fully functional shooting range where players can test different weapons and determine which ones suit their playstyles best. This feature will include a leaderboard, adding an early layer of competition to this exciting new gameplay mechanic. We’re confident that gamers will be eager to explore this feature in the new Calido Pavillion area, known as the Glimpse of Esperanza.

 

Art in the Multiverse

Glimpse of Esperanza

Our community has been eagerly awaiting the release of our next major in-game biome dome, Esperanza. This ambitious project will increase our total in-game area by nearly 50%, adding 150 square kilometers of fresh gameplay space. Before the full release, we plan to offer a preview—similar to what we did for Solace—so that our community can experience a taste of what’s to come.

Esperanza 1, 2 & 3

Esperanza 1 is nearly complete, and we continue to make significant progress with Esperanza 2 and 3. We are currently positioning the town centers and laying down land plots, and we expect our community to be thoroughly impressed when they explore the new layout.

Esperanza represents a major advancement in our approach to landscape and vegetation diversity. The Esperanza art kit is twice the size of the Solace art kit, offering twice as many creative assets to bring the biome to life. This upgrade will further enhance our biome development process, delivering a uniquely engaging experience in our game’s desert environment.

 

Upcoming Developments

Avatar 3.0

The upcoming upgrades to our avatars are the most significant since the launch of our avatar creator. We are not only introducing new, dynamic movement animations but also implementing substantial visual enhancements that will be immediately noticeable. For example, we have integrated masculine and feminine skeletal structures to create a more natural baseline for avatar posture. Additionally, we are experimenting with details like “jiggle physics” to add an extra layer of immersion to the avatar system.

Cornucopias was honored to have a presence at ETH Denver as part of the Blockchain Arcade section. This opportunity allowed us to showcase our game to new audiences, reinforcing our potential to be recognized as a top-tier title in the industry.
