Solace Land Grab - Everything You Need to Know

How It Works

What you need before you start

  • Hold your Land Claim NFTs in your connected wallets. That’s the only way to participate.
  • Verify your inventory. In your player account (logged in), go to Your Assets and filter by “Land Claim…” to double-check you’ve got the claims you intend to use.
  • Use Favorites on the map. Star the plots you’ll pursue so you can open them quickly when claiming goes live.

Why own land?

How to Make Land Grab Claims

What you’ll click first

  • Land Claim button (top nav) → opens a page with sections: PrepareScheduleWatchParticipate.
  • Click Map to enter the map view (defaults to Solace 1)
  • Left menu highlights: FavoritesYour LandYour ClaimsListings (shows everything).

Navigating the map

  • Switch between Solace 1/2/3 via the side menu.
  • You can work from Favorites or from any plot you click on the map.
  • If a property has no Claim/Pending Claim buttons, it’s already been processed (selection has passed).
  • Use the search bar on the top right corner to find specific plots. ie. Plot ID, plot address, etc.
    • PLEASE NOTE: Search will only apply to the area you are viewing. To be safe, zoom all the way out.

Placing a claim (from a Favorite or a map click)

  1. Open a property → a modal appears with details.
  2. Click Claim → Edit selections.
  3. Choose from your available NFTs (size-specific list; e.g., small for small plots).
  4. Anonymity option: check the box if you don’t want your player account name shown on the live selections page.
  5. Click Save claim → confirmation toast (“claim entries updated successfully”).
  6. In the list, a checkmark and number next to the NFT show how many plots that NFT is now associated with.
  7. Click Pending Claims to see all claims on this plot. You can expand rows to inspect other entries.

Managing and finding your claims

  • Search by plot number (e.g., typing “1482”) to jump straight to a property.
  • Your Land (left menu): shows plots awarded to you.
  • Your Claims (left menu): shows every claim you’ve placed.
    • Taken label: indicates plots awarded to someone else.
    • Yours label: indicates plots you have aquired

During the span of the live selection event

  • You can still place claims on plots that haven’t been selected yet.
  • There is a lockout 60 seconds before scheduled selection time—don’t wait until the last minute.

Watching it live

  • Go to Live Land Claim:

    • Left panel: a rolling schedule of plots (order may “skip around” as the system cycles Small Solace 1 → Small Solace 2 → Small Solace 3 → back to Solace 1 for Medium, etc.).
    • Center: property image and details (shows Solace and size at the top).
      • Countdown timer at the top for the next draw.
    • Right (Drawing Pool): shows only the claims that factor in based on rarity precedence (e.g., if a Mythic is present, lower rarities don’t factor).
      • Top flag: displays the winner’s user ID unless they chose anonymous.

Schedule of Events

Phase 1 (5 days): Stake your Claim - Not to be confused with the selection process below

Begins Thursday, September 18 16:00 UTC

During this phase, you can place claims on land plots for each of your land claim deed NFTs.

IMPORTANT: You can continue placing claims on land plots that have not been through live selection yet throughout the duration of the live event.

Phase 2 (~ 5.5 days): Live Selection Event - This is when plots are assigned

Begins Wednesday, September 24 @ 16:00 UTC - Schedule to follow

The live event will last roughly 5.5 days. During the Live event, claims will begin to process starting with the Small Plots first, and ending with Copias Plots on the last day.

Placing claims on plots

  • In each property’s modal you’ll see 3 tabs: PropertyClaims (where you place your claim(s) for that plot), and Pending Claims (shows every claim (by all users) placed on that plot).
  • Size-matching: In Your Claims, you’ll only see claims that match that plot’s size.
  • No limits:
    • You can place a claim on any number of plots.
    • You can place multiple claims on a single plot.
    • If one of your claims wins a plot, that claim is removed everywhere else you placed it.
  • Cutoff: You can place or adjust claims on a plot selection up to 60 seconds before its scheduled selection time.

The selection schedule

  • Before the event starts, a schedule is published with the exact date and time for each of the 8,000 plots.
  • Selections run every 60 seconds revealing the selected account handle and associated land claim immediately (you can opt out of handle display when setting claims; only non-opted handles appear).
  • Order: Small → Medium → Large → Epic → Copias, and within each size: Solace I, then II, then III.
  • The full run is roughly 5.5 days, back-to-back, with pauses if maintenance is needed.
  • Some plots may remain unclaimed; there will be a second round. More details to follow.

How a plot is selected

  • At a plot’s selection time, rarity precedence determines the winner: Mythic > Legendary > Rare > Uncommon > Common.
  • If any Mythic is present, a Mythic wins. If no Mythic, then Legendary, and so on.
  • If multiple claims exist at the top present rarity, the winner is chosen at random among those.
  • Examples:

    • 1 Mythic vs many others: the Mythic takes it.
    • 4 Mythics present: selection is random among the four (owning more than one Mythic on that plot proportionally improves odds).
    • If no Mythic/Legendary, Rares compete; otherwise Uncommon, then Common.

Strategy (from the examples provided)

  • If you have 3 Mythics, you can put one on each of your top three plots—or all three on one plot; if you don’t win that first selection, you can move them to your next choice (as long as it hasn't been selected yet).
  • With 1 Mythic and four favorite plots, you can place it on all four. If you win the first one scheduled, it’s removed from the remaining three—claims will visibly drop as selections progress.

What you can see before committing

  • Pending Claims shows all claims by all users on that plot (including rarities), so you can gauge competitiveness before you place yours.

Quick answers

  • FCFS? NO. Scheduled selections with rarity precedence.
  • How many plots can I place on? No limit.
  • How many claims per plot? No limit (only one will be selected).
  • Can I see others’ rarities before I commit? Yes, via Pending Claims.

Pre-event checklist

  • Your connected wallets hold the Land Claim NFTs you plan to use.
  • You verified deeds in Your Assets with “Land Claim…” filter.
  • You favorited the plots you’ll pursue for quicker recall when claim placing opens.
  • You know the cutoff: 60 seconds before each plot’s selection.

Solace Land Claim, Round 2

If you missed out on this first one, we will be scheduling a round 2 with all remaining plots. More details to follow.

Land Claim in Esperanza and Fortune

If you are waiting on that perfect plot, fear not… Esperanza or Fortune are also to follow and these claims can also be used for those. Hold out if you aren’t in love with something in Solace.
